Ghibli Museum

#tokyospots

The Ghibli Museum in Mitaka was a dream come true for any Studio Ghibli fan. Stepping inside felt like entering one of Hayao Miyazaki’s films—whimsical architecture, stained glass windows of Totoro and Kiki, and hidden details everywhere you look. The exhibits show the animation process with sketches, storyboards, and models, giving a peek into the creative magic. The short exclusive film in the museum’s small theater was a delightful bonus. Photography isn’t allowed inside, which actually made the experience feel more intimate and magical. The nearby Inokashira Park added to the charm. It’s not just a museum—it’s a world of imagination.
