Miyako Shrine is located on Miyako Island, Okinawa Prefecture.
Miyako Shrine is characterized by its colorful vermilion roof with an unusual shape, and has a tropical atmosphere that is typical of Okinawa! !
It was founded in 1590, so it has a history of over 400 years.
The roots of the shrine are in Naminoue Shrine in Naha. The reason this shrine was built is that voters during the Ryukyu Kingdom era invited the god of Naminoue Shrine to Miyako Island.
Miyako Shrine, also known as the power spot of Miyako Island, is also attractive because it has several benefits!
Many tourists visit and worship at the shrine, mainly because it is believed to bring good luck.
Please come and visit us! !
