Miyako Shrine is the southernmost shrine in Japan, built in 1590. The deities enshrined are the Kumano Sanjin and the Toyomi Oya Sanjin. It is located in the central area of Miyako Island. There was a place to park several cars in front of the shrine's torii gate. The goshuin was written in advance, but it was very cute. It was a wonderful shrine with an Okinawan feel. There was a laid-back atmosphere.
