[Okinawa/Miyakojima] If you come to Miyakojima, it would be a waste not to try bonito!!

I wanted to eat seasonal fish caught in the sea off Miyakojima, so I went to "Fish Lab Uojuku" which recently opened in the food court at Shimanoeki Miyako! !

It opens at 7:30, so you can eat a good breakfast in Miyakojima, where many restaurants open relatively late in the morning.

There are menus such as "Katsuo-don" which is unique to Miyakojima, which is famous for bonito, and "Tuna and Bonito-don" for those who want to eat both tuna and bonito, and I had a hard time deciding which one to get! !

It was helpful that they also had half-size meals, which are convenient for people who tend to overeat during their trip and aren't that hungry in the morning.

The miso soup that came with the meal was topped with mozuku seaweed and fish fillets, and the rice bowl was topped with sea grapes, so it was a very satisfying breakfast with ingredients typical of Miyakojima!!

The bonito had no smell at all, and I ate it all in one go😋

⚠️Because it's a new restaurant, if you search on Google Maps, you'll be taken to a completely different place, so be careful

It's inside the Miyako Island Station, so at the back of the food court, there is a store with a wide selection of products, including bento boxes, souvenirs, island bananas, and snow salt sata bread bottles!!

After the meal, I bought a "purple potato sesame dumpling" for dessert, and it had a slight sweetness of purple potato, which I really liked❤️
