When I mentioned I was going to Miyakojima, a friend recommended Kaimeeru, located just across the Ikema Bridge, saying, "You absolutely have to try the Miyako soba here!!"

Just as my friend recommended, the Miyako soba was absolutely delicious!!

But my biggest recommendation here is the "puriimo mochi" (beniimo mochi)😍
As a fan of purple sweet potato sweets, I couldn't resist trying it.

The mochi is completely covered in white sesame seeds, making it crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside—exquisite!! I ate so much I could only eat one, but even now, thinking about it, I want to eat it again.

After filling my stomach, I went down the stairs to the right of the restaurant and headed to Ohama Beach 🏖
There were no people swimming, but many people were taking photos on the beach with the Ikema Bridge in the background, and it had the clearest water of all the beaches I visited this time!!

One thing to note is that there isn't much parking.

It's always full, so if you want to enjoy delicious Miyako soba and purple sweet potato mochi while viewing the beautiful beach, you'll need to arrive early or be patient and wait for a parking spot to open up.
