Climbing Kirishima (Takachiho-no-mine Route)
The trailhead is the Takachiho-gawara Visitor Center.
First, you'll walk along a stone-paved approach and pass the ruins of the ancient Kirishima Shrine. ⛩️
From there, it's a steep climb!
But if you look back, the views of the Kirishima forest, Sakurajima, and the distant sea are breathtakingly beautiful. 🌋
At the summit, worship Amanosakahoko and experience the world of myth.
The breeze at the summit is like another world, and you'll truly feel glad you made the climb!
