Beijixing Square, Mohe: Landmark of China's Northernmost City, Beautiful in the Snow!

Mohe City in the Greater Khingan Range is located at the northernmost tip of China and is known as the "Arctic of China". Beijixing Square was built to commemorate this Arctic city and is the northernmost public square in China. When it snows, the square is as beautiful as a painting. I thought it was just an ordinary city park, but when I visited it, I found it was a great place to check in and take photos. It is located in the center of Mohe City, and you can easily get there by train or plane. Isn't that convenient? Here are some tips for visiting Beijixing Square:
1. Tickets: Beijixing Square is a public open area in Mohe, open 24 hours a day for free, so there is no entrance fee.
2. Duration: The square is not very large, but it is a great place to play in the snow in winter. It is a great place to take your loved ones or children for a leisurely time. I recommend spending 1–2 hours there.
3. Transportation: Beijixing Square is located in the center of Mohe City and is easily accessible by public transportation. Mohe Station, the airport, and some rural bus lines can take you directly to the main entrance of Beijixing Square or nearby stops. However, bus schedules may change on snowy days, so keep an eye on them.
4. Nearby attractions: Beijixing Square is close to the Greater Khingan Range Memorial Hall, Mohe Monument, China Arctic Mosque, Mohe Dance Hall, and other famous attractions.
5. Food and accommodation: The hotel and restaurant industry in the center of Mohe City is very mature, and Beijixing Square is located in the city center, so there are all kinds of hotels available, and the room rates are not too high, usually around CNY 200 for a standard room. The cost of dining is slightly higher than in Harbin, but it is generally affordable.
6. Notes: When taking a taxi in Mohe, you need to negotiate the price in advance to avoid unnecessary disputes. Prepare spare batteries for your phone, camera, etc., as they tend to run out of power in cold weather.
