relocated to a more natural location in December 2024.

I'd been curious about "Burma Udon" for a long time,
and finally got to try it this time.

✤ Mini Burma Udon
Burma Udon is curry udon,
but instead of spicy curry, it's spicy with chili peppers.🌶

As you eat it, the umami of the broth hits you,
and then the spiciness of the chili peppers hits you.🌶
An addictive flavor.
It comes with large chicken wings, and the meat is tender.🐓
They apparently add more broth for those who don't like spicy food.

This dish is also delicious with its dashi broth.
The sauce is on the sweet side, so it's perfect when eaten alternately with the Burmese udon.

By the time I finished it, my lips were burning from the spiciness. 🔥
But it was delicious! ⁡
Burmese udon was originally served at two restaurants: Tamazushi in Mojiko and Chiyomoto in Moji.
However, both restaurants closed, and the owner of Hanasenri decided to continue the tradition by learning the flavor from the chef at Chiyomoto.

Apparently, the dish is based on a curry-flavored chicken stew he ate in Burma. 🐓
