🏗️What is the Iwate Bank Red Brick Museum?
・This authentic red brick building was designed by architect Kingo Tatsuno, known for the Meiji-era construction of Tokyo Station. It is the only such work still standing in the Tohoku region. It has been designated an Important Cultural Property by the national government. It opened to the public as a cultural facility in 2016.
The interior features a vault, reception rooms, and other features, allowing visitors to experience the history of finance and architecture.

In the multipurpose hall and library lounge, you can see exhibits introducing Morioka's industrial and commercial history.
- Paid Zone (Morioka Bank Zone)
Tour the original vault and reception room, and enjoy a virtual theater showcasing financial history and the building's structure through video. (Adults: ¥300, Elementary and Junior High School Students: ¥100)

- Approximately 10 minutes by bus from JR Morioka Station, then a 1-minute walk from Morioka Bus Center.
- Approximately 10 minutes by car from Morioka IC.
- No parking (please use nearby paid parking).
