Dinner opposite the Kremlin: Russian classics at the Dr. Zhivago Grand Café

Grand Café Dr. Zhivago is located on the first floor of the legendary National Hotel. It's notable not only for its location (with a spectacular view of the Kremlin from its windows) but also for its achievements: in 2021, for example, it received the prestigious "Michelin Recommended" status. I love restaurants like this ⭐

The creators have found the perfect balance between traditional Russian dishes and modern influences. I loved the crayfish julienne and the cabbage rolls. For dessert, coffee with "Mishka na Severe" candies and a berry cake. And of course, sparkling wine 🍾

❤️Soviet hits are played in the dining room.

❤️At the entrance, there's a Soviet-era vending machine – while you wait (which can be a long time), you can enjoy a soda that many people have loved since childhood.

One of my favorite places in Moscow ❤️
