The Churaumi Aquarium is famous for the world's third largest Kuroshio Sea tank, which displays giant marine creatures such as whale sharks and manta rays, and replicates the deep-sea ecology of Okinawa. The museum is divided into four floors. We recommend the "Kuroshio Journey" on the 2nd floor and the "Coral Reef Journey" on the 3rd floor. The former offers a stunning whale shark feeding show (15:00 daily), while the latter has a touch pool and coral ecology display.

Tickets are 2,180 yen for adults and 4,360 yen for an annual pass, which is suitable for multiple visitors. Surrounding facilities include the Dolphin Theater and the beach. It is recommended to take the park shuttle bus for a tour. The in-house restaurant "Ocean Blue" is located near the water tank and offers light meals with a sea view, but you need to reserve a seat in advance.
