Medog is 117 kilometers away from Bomi. After the road is completed, it will take 3 to 4 hours to drive from Bomi to Medog.

If you go to Medog, you must stay in the county for one night. Accommodation conditions are limited and the price is not cheap. You can choose Medog according to your needs. The most recommended hotel is the Gradandong Hotel (400/room~600/room).

🌟Highlights:
Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon
The world's largest canyon has dense rivers and lakes, swamps, snow-capped mountains and glaciers, and many magnificent sights can be seen in the canyon. From March to April every year, dense wild peach forests grow on both sides of the canyon. Looking down, you can see the endless surging river and lush peach blossoms, which is extremely beautiful.

This is a landmark place on the Yarlung Zangbo River. It has this lovely name because its shape from a bird's-eye view resembles a lollipop, hence the name. Standing on the observation deck, you can see the banana groves and the Yarlung Zangbo River. The scenery is beautiful and very photogenic.

Gaolongla Snow Mountain
Known as the "Mountain of God", the magnificent peaks and snow-capped tops are breathtaking.
Breathtaking. There is also a Gaola Tianchi on the snow mountain, which is like a pearl inlaid at an altitude of 4,700 meters and is very clear. The Galong Temple at the Galongla Tunnel is also worth a visit.

☁️Climate
It belongs to the subtropical humid climate zone, with four seasons like spring. You can see the original tropical rainforest scenery and snow. There is a saying that "one mountain shows four seasons, and the weather is different in ten miles." The temperature rises in March, and the weather is generally sunny and dry. Be careful to prevent violet rays.

1. Medog is located at the border. Remember to apply for a border pass. There will be a border station for inspection.

2. Double entry and single exit. Be sure to calculate the time when you go out. Otherwise, you can only return the same way.

3. The only county in China that charges entry: 210/person in peak season, 160/person in off-season

4. There are many people and cars on the viewing platforms along the way when going in both directions. If you are not in a hurry, you can choose to watch it on the return trip. After the people disperse, there are almost no people on the viewing platform, so you can enjoy the view.
