❤️Tips: We don't recommend driving to Mount Heng during holidays. There are often traffic jams, and it's hard to find a parking space, which is a waste of time. Private cars are not allowed to drive up the mountain.

🏠Accommodation Guide
If you want to see the sunrise, you can consider staying in a homestay halfway up the mountain or on the top of the mountain.
(PS: It takes 2–3 hours to walk from halfway up the mountain to the sunrise viewing point.)

✅How to Get Up the Mountain
There is no cable car on Mount Heng, only a sightseeing bus, which only goes halfway up the mountain.
(It is 7 km round trip from halfway up the mountain to the top, about 2.5 hours one way.)
❤️TIPS: If it snows and the road is icy, the sightseeing bus will be suspended, and you will have to walk.

✅Winter Scenery
Snow and rime: It snows a lot from December to February, and the rime is spectacular.
Sunrise: The best places to see the sunrise are Wangri Platform, Shangfeng Temple, and Zhuru Peak.
Sea of clouds and mist: You can see the mountain mist, which blends with the snow-capped mountains in winter.

The climate zone of Mount Heng. You can see the beautiful rime from here.

One of the ancient roads to Zhuru Peak, known as the "pilgrimage road" by many tourists.
4. Nanyue Temple
The largest temple in southern China, known as the "Forbidden City of the South". It is said that wishes made here are very effective.

1. From December to February every year, there are frequent sea of clouds and rime on Mount Heng. Be sure to check the weather in advance before you go.
2. It is recommended to buy crampons online in advance, as they are of better quality and have better anti-slip effect.
3. The sightseeing bus may be suspended in heavy snow. The hiking distance is long, so please do what you can.
