How to Get to Mount Putuo
Aircraft ✈️
From Zhoushan Putuoshan Airport (Zhujiajian), take a taxi to Zhujiajian Wugongshi Wharf (10 minutes).

High-speed rail/bus 🚌
Arrive in Ningbo, take a bus to Zhujiajian or Shenjiamen Wharf, and then take a boat to Putuo Mountain.

🧡Transportation within the island**

Shuttle bus** 5-10 yuan/section, connecting major attractions such as Pier→Puji Temple→Fayu Temple→Foding Mountain

Walking** It is recommended to walk along the Qianbusha, Xiangyun Road (Foding Mountain Pilgrimage Road) and other trails to experience the Zen spirit.

1. Three major Zen temples
-Puji Temple (front temple): the core temple of Putuo Mountain, dedicated to the true body of Guanyin

- Fayu Temple (back temple): The Nine-Dragon Wall and Nine-Dragon Caisson reflect the royal style, and the quiet back mountain is suitable for meditation.

- Huiji Zen Temple** (Foding Mountain): The highest temple in the world. Take the cable car to the top and overlook the whole island. The "Buddha's Light Shining on the Roof of the Main Hall" is a wonder.

2. Nanhai Guanyin and Purple Bamboo Forest
Standing Statue of Guanyin of the Nanhai Sea**: The 33-meter-high golden statue faces the sea, and the Lotus Square has a wide view, symbolizing the "Buddhist Kingdom on the Sea".

Zizhulin Zen Temple**: It is said that this is the place where Guanyin practiced Taoism, and the sound of waves hitting rocks in Chaoyin Cave is like Sanskrit.

Bukenqu Guanyinyuan**: The origin of Sino-Japanese Buddhist exchanges, small and exquisite, overlooking the sea and listening to the waves.

3. Mount Loka
Luojia Mountain**: You need to take a boat to get there (70 yuan round trip). It is said to be the place where Guanyin practiced. The "Reclining Buddha on the Sea" looks like Guanyin's nirvana from a distance.
