Peacock Rock and Longevity Deck @ Sanqingshan

Wonderful Nature in Longevity Garden at Sanqingshan, Jiangxi Province.
Peacock Rock with Crane-longevity Deck (photos 1 to 5) is one of the main sightseeing platforms in Longevity Garden and a place to worship Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva. It is said that cranes represents longevity in Chinese traditional culture and that immortals often play the zither under the pine tree and cranes tend to dance to the melody. So the pine tree and the crane is an harmonious picture which convey auspiciousness. They also say that people can receive Kwan-Yin’s blessings here.
Tranquility Bridge (photo 10) is an arch bridge and is said the bridge can grant tourists who are crossing it a feeling of peace and tranquility in mind, hence its name.
