Step into the world of Ghibli in Nagakute


Nagakute is located in the northwest of Aichi Prefecture, Japan, adjacent to Nagoya City in the east, and is one of the commuter towns around Nagoya.

Here are some attractions in Nagakute:
Ghibli Park
- Ghibli's Grand Warehouse: This is an exhibition of Ghibli works, displaying first-hand drawings, realistic animation scenes, life-size models, etc. There is also a theater and three special exhibitions, which take 2–3 hours to visit.
- Hill of Youth: You can visit the "Earth Shop" in "Whisper of the Heart" and the "Cat Bureau" in "The Cat Returns," and walk around to feel the atmosphere of the animation. The visit takes about 1 hour.
- Dondoko Forest: You can explore the world of "My Neighbor Totoro," with a giant Totoro and "Satsuki and Mei's House," which truly presents the living space of the two sisters. It is suitable for children to play, and it is recommended to spend 1 hour here.
- Mononoke Village: Walk through the classic scene "Tatara-ba" in the animation "Princess Mononoke," with a slide based on the centenarian boar god "Okkoto" and a statue of the evil spirit "Tatari-gami." Toyota Museum
