Make a wish on a lantern

At the Nagano Lantern Festival, lanterns are displayed from Nagano Station to Zenkoji Temple, and even further on to the Prefectural Art Museum.

It seems that the works of students from local schools are displayed here, and the students and their parents came to see them.

There are so many works on display, each made with their favorite things and wishes.

Since many are displayed in the museum's plaza, the rooftop of the museum is open and you can see them from above.

I wonder how much time it takes to make these lanterns?

When I was a student, I was not good at art classes and was hesitant...

Even now, I don't think I can make a work like the cat in the third picture, but I feel like I can try a little harder now lol

What kind of lantern would you make?

I would like to try it if I have the opportunity.
