This is a historic shrine dedicated to the Kusanagi Sword, one of the Three Sacred Treasures.
The main deity is Atsuta-no-Okami (Amaterasu Omikami).
The shrine is easily accessible from Nagoya Station, making it an easy place to visit. The grounds are very large, and if you also visit the treasure house and Kusanagi Hall, a treasure trove of swords, it will take about one and a half to two hours to see the whole place.
The refreshing air made me feel energized.
