Atsuta Shrine is located in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious shrines in Japan, and is as famous as Ise Shrine. The main deity is Atsuta Okami (the spiritual sword form of Amaterasu Omikami, the "Kusanagi Sword"), which is one of the three sacred weapons. From Nagoya Station: JR Tokaido Main Line: Get off at "Atsuta Station" and walk for about 8 minutes; Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line: Get off at "Jingumae Station" and walk for about 3 minutes (most recommended).
There are many local Japanese tourists. It is not easy to have such a large forest and green space in the suburbs of the city. There are also earth walls left by Oda Nobunaga. It is recommended that if you come to Nagoya to play, you can visit Atsuta Shrine.
