Kamihara Jizoson, located in Osu, Naka Ward, Nagoya, is a Jizo statue where people pray for the fulfillment of wishes by writing them on paper and attaching it to the statue! Located in the Osu Shopping District, it's a popular spot to visit in between shopping and sightseeing.

Features and History
Originally located in front of the Osu Kannon Temple, this Jizo statue has a long history.

A unique feature is the unique prayer method known as "kamiharai" (paper-attaching prayer), in which worshippers write their wishes on paper and attach them to the Jizo statue!

It is said that worshippers will have their wishes granted by writing their wishes on paper and attaching them to the Jizo statue! It is particularly popular among locals for its powerful healing powers.

How to Worship
1. Write your wish on paper (obtain paper locally)
2. Write your wish on the Jizo statue and attach it to the statue
3. Pray with your hands together

Kamihara Jizoson is a popular Jizo statue thanks to its unique method of worship: writing your wish on paper and attaching it directly to the statue!

It's especially recommended for those praying for recovery from illness or protection from misfortune, and we recommend combining a visit with a visit to Osu Kannon Temple and a stroll around the shopping district!
