#The Sakura Corridor in Nagoya Higashiyama Zoo is a very popular cherry blossom viewing spot. There are 100 varieties and more than 1,000 cherry trees, from the earliest blooming Kawazu cherry, the weeping cherry blossom tunnel with drooping branches, the cherry blossom carpet formed by the road covered with cherry blossoms, the gorgeous and charming double cherry blossoms, and the light green flowers of the royal yellow, etc., which bloom in relay from March to April, and you can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms for two consecutive months. In early April, a nighttime walk of the double cherry blossoms is held, and the cherry blossom corridor is lit up at night, making it even more romantic.

The Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens is easily accessible by public transportation. You can take the Higashiyama Subway Line directly to Higashiyama Park Station and walk about 3 minutes from Exit 3. Alternatively, you can take the subway to Hoshigaoka Station and enter from the other end of the park, which is also quite convenient.
