① About Access
It's a short subway ride from Nagoya Station.
Taking Exit 1 from Sakae Station—the one near Don Quijote—go straight. Walking along the main street with your back to the Ferris wheel, it was a short walk.
I think the official website said it was a two-minute walk. As long as you don't get stuck at traffic lights, it certainly seems like it would take about that long.
Rather than seeing the hotel sign, I knew it was there when I saw the convenience store (7-Eleven) on the first floor.
However, there's no arcade, so an umbrella is essential on rainy days.
② About the Room
This time, I booked the cheapest room with a shower booth.
The room size was just right. Typical of business hotels, the electricity in the room is turned on when you insert your room key, and the refrigerator was turned on by flipping the switch.
The refrigerator is in the door to the left of the chair. The top drawer on the right contained a kettle and glasses, and the bottom one contained pajamas. The middle drawer contained a USB cable and flashlight.
One thing that bothered me, or rather, was the lack of a safe for storing valuables. Valuables had to be kept at the front desk. This might be a bit of a problem for longer stays.
The shower booth was quite small. About half the size of a tatami mat.
I'm 156cm tall, so it was large enough for me to stretch my arms out without hitting the wall, but those with longer limbs might find it a bit tight. The shower pressure was sufficient—in fact, it felt quite strong, making it easy to use.
③ Welcome Drink
At the back of the front desk (2nd floor), there is an area where breakfast is served, where you can enjoy a welcome drink.
Although it's called a welcome drink, it's only available from check-in until around 11pm, making it very convenient.
Please note that you are not allowed to fill a water bottle or other container with the drink and take it home. There is a water server on the 3rd floor, and it was mentioned that guests should use that.
④ Breakfast
Some of the menu items change daily, so I think you won't get bored of them if you stay for two nights. The day I stayed, they had thick sauce pasta and kishimen noodles.
In addition to Nagoya cuisine, there was a wide selection of classic breakfast side dishes, and the food was frequently replenished, so everything was delicious.
⑤ Other
There were plenty of free amenities, and it was close to the station, so it was very convenient.
There's also a convenience store accessible from the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you want to do some shopping in the middle of the night!
*The hotel entrance requires you to touch your card key to enter, so security is also taken into consideration.
