Shuri Castle after the fire

Shuri Castle in Naha City, Okinawa was once the royal palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Although it is Japanese territory, it was deeply influenced by the Ming and Qing dynasties in China. Its architectural style is a combination of Chinese and Japanese, and is quite distinctive. Unfortunately, a fire in 2019 destroyed the main hall, leaving only the castle and park parts for the visit, which is a pity.
Transportation: Get off at Okinawa Monorail Shuri Station and walk for 10 minutes
