Shuri Castle, one of Okinawa's biggest tourist attractions

On my trip to Okinawa, I went to the tourist attraction "Shuri Castle".

Shuri Castle, one of the representative World Heritage sites in Okinawa, lost its main hall in a fire, but reconstruction work is currently underway. Some of the construction work is open to the public, allowing you to enjoy a unique sightseeing experience.

Ornaments from the collapsed roof were also on display.

You can see part of the framework, and there are panels introducing the tiles that were burned in the fire and the materials used in the restoration, so I'm looking forward to the unveiling. It is scheduled to be completed in 2026, so it will take about another three years, but I can't wait.

Apart from the main hall, there are many other places worth seeing, so it is definitely one of the tourist spots you should visit.

It's definitely worth a visit!
