Shuri Castle in Okinawa under reconstruction❗️

I went to Shuri Castle in Okinawa, which is currently under reconstruction.

It was painful to see the main hall burned. .
But I'd like to come back when the reconstruction is complete. 😌

Volunteers were peeling off the red plaster tiles.

The weather was good and the view from the observation deck was great.

There are signs along the way from Shuri Station on the Yui Rail, but I was a little worried about whether I would actually get there. 😌 It was about a 20-minute walk. .

On the way back, it's a shortcut to go past Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts.
