The name has changed over the years, and it is still called "Tempura Hill" as a remnant of the postwar period.
A sign for "Tempura Hill" appears halfway up the hill.
I was not able to see any prominent tempura shops while walking, but I did come across a few cafes and restaurants.
It's a very steep hill.
For those looking for a unique sightseeing experience that is not satisfied by the main streets, I recommend these backstreets.
It's a hill that has nothing particularly special about it, but has a sense of history and atmosphere.
It's educational to stroll while reading the signs on the street corners! #Tempura Hill #Okinawa #Tempura #Okinawa Tempura #Okinawa Tourism #Makishi #Tsuboya #Slope #GW2022jp
