Transit miles. Heading straight for the center of Kokusai Street

Every Sunday (12:00-18:00) on Okinawa Kokusai-dori (approximately 1300m long), there is an event called "Transit Mile (Miracle 1 Mile)" that turns the road into a pedestrian-priority road!

I took the chance to go right through the center of Okinawa Kokusai-dori.

There didn't seem to be any particular events this time, but

it seems that there are open cafes, street performances, and various other events.

It was a good opportunity to experience the heat of Okinawa on a nice day.

If you don't like the heat or want to be careful about heatstroke,

I recommend walking in the shade on the side.
