We stopped by to do some business in Nakhon Chai Si and happened to pass by Thana Market, so we decided to stop by for a walk. Let me tell you, the atmosphere here is great. It has a warm old market feel, and there are also many chic shops to walk around and see.
The food is also full. We started with grilled squid, which was very fresh and chewy. The seafood sauce was really spicy. We walked a little further and found a grilled banana shop. The aroma hit our noses. The coconut milk was just the right amount of sweet. Eating it made us feel like we had traveled back in time.
We stopped by Thana Khae Noodles, which had soft noodles and a delicious soup. The highlight was the homemade Khae meatballs, which were chewy and full of flavor. Finally, we finished off with fried taro, which was unlike any other because it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Most importantly, it wasn’t greasy at all. It was so delicious.
If you’re passing through Nakhon Chai Si and don’t know where to go, try stopping by Thana Market. There’s so much food, the atmosphere is great, and there are cool photo spots. You’ll be so engrossed in your walk that you’ll forget the time. 🙂
