Worship Phra Pathom Chedi 🪷

🪷 Phra Pathom Chedi is an important religious site in Thailand. It is located at Wat Phra Pathom Chedi Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province. It is one of the largest and tallest chedis in Thailand. It is believed to have been built in the Dvaravati period and renovated during the reign of King Rama IV.

Interesting things in Wat Phra Pathom Chedi:
1️⃣ Phra Pathom Chedi: A large golden Sri Lankan-style chedi containing the relics of the Lord Buddha.
2️⃣ Phra Ruang Rojanarit Si Intharathit Thammasokraj: A standing Buddha statue in the blessing posture, Sukhothai art, a sacred Buddha statue that people like to worship.
3️⃣ Wihan Luang: A large temple enshrining a white stone Buddha statue.
4️⃣ Phra Phutthanarachet Setthachayanti Sukhavadi Phutthakhet: A Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture, Dvaravati art.

* You can travel conveniently by private car or bus from Bangkok to Nakhon Pathom Province.
* If traveling by private car You can use Highway No. 4 (Phetkasem Road) or Highway No. 338 (Borommaratchachonnani Road).
