Worship Phra Pathom Chedi by Merit-Making Train 🚂🙏

This trip began simply by taking a train from Bangkok to Nakhon Pathom. It didn't take long to reach Nakhon Pathom Railway Station, which is located near Phra Pathom Chedi. It was only a few minutes' walk to the destination of faith.

Upon entering the grounds of Wat Phra Pathom Chedi, the first thing to do was pay respects to Phra Pathom Chedi, the largest chedi in Thailand. It's majestic and full of devotion.

Next, enter the viharn to pay respects to the principal Buddha image, a large, beautiful, and peaceful image of the Buddha in the Mara-Vijaya posture.

Don't forget to walk around the chedi to pay respects to the Buddha images representing the four directions: north, south, east, and west. These Buddha images are enshrined in various poses, offering blessings in all aspects of life.

The temple grounds are shady and offer a variety of local shops and food to sample before heading back home. It's a short, fulfilling and heartfelt trip.
