📍..Wat Phra Pathom Chedi is located in Phra Pathom Chedi Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Pathom Province.

📒..Phra Pathom Chedi is considered to have the largest chedi in Thailand.

.. The current Phra Pathom Chedi was built during the reign of King Rama IV in 1853. His Majesty ordered the construction of a new chedi over the remains of the original chedi. Construction of the new chedi was completed during the reign of King Rama V in 1870, taking 17 years. The new chedi is a circular, bell-shaped chedi in the Sri Lankan style.

📸..In addition to Phra Pathom Chedi, there is also Phra Ruang Rojanarit, a standing Buddha image in the attitude of granting forgiveness, enshrined in the northern viharn in front of Phra Pathom Chedi. Built during the reign of King Rama VI, the base of the Buddha image contains the relics of King Rama VI.
