Wat Phayap, Nakhon Ratchasima Province
It is a royal temple in the northwest of Korat City, built since the reign of King Narai the Great, along with the establishment of Nakhon Ratchasima City. It is an ancient temple with a long history.
The ordination hall is shaped like a junk, made of marble, towering and majestic. When you enter the ordination hall, you will see the intricate lacquerwork on the clear glass.
There is a cave with stalactites and stalagmites that were created. The stones used to make stalactites and stalagmites come from blasting mountain rocks to make cement. They were reassembled and modeled into a cave to serve as a memorial and for future generations to visit and study. Inside the cave, there is also an ancient Buddha statue.
