The old city wall of Nakhon Si Thammarat 🧱🧱 is an important historical site of the province. It is a symbol of strength, prosperity and long history.

This wall was built during the reign of King Narai the Great in the Ayutthaya period, around 1686. His Majesty ordered Mr. Lamar, a French engineer, to come and map and draft a blueprint of the fort and the city wall.

Currently, the wall has been restored to be strong and beautiful in order to develop it into a valuable historical tourist attraction. Anyone who comes to Nakhon Si Thammarat must not miss checking in.
