Nanjing, China can be said to be a city of museums.
The Nanjing Museum has a collection of more than 400,000 cultural relics, ranging from the Paleolithic Age to the present, both national and Jiangsu regional; there are both palace heirlooms and archaeological excavations, and some are from social collections and donations. They are all treasures and masterpieces from all dynasties. It can be said to be a huge treasure house of Chinese culture and art.

The Special Exhibition Hall has exhibition halls 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 15, four of which are permanent exhibitions: Approaching the Buddha - Exhibition of Buddha Statue in Nanjing Museum, Special Exhibition Hall 3F10 Exhibition Hall, Precision and Beauty - Exhibition of Fine Clocks and Watches in Nanjing Museum, Special Exhibition Hall 4F13 Exhibition Hall, Display of Qing Palace - Exhibition of Qing Dynasty Palace Cultural Relics in Nanjing Museum, Special Exhibition Hall 4F14 Exhibition Hall, Prosperity and Splendor - Exhibition of Official Kiln Porcelain in Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong Periods, Special Exhibition Hall 4F15 Exhibition Hall.

Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 every Tuesday to Sunday (no admission at 16:00), open all day on Mondays due to national statutory holidays, closed on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

Tickets: Free, reservation required

Transportation
Exit 1 of Nanjing Metro Line 2 Ming Palace Station, walk east along Zhongshan East Road for 472 meters, located on the north side of the road
