The Imperial Examination Museum of China was rebuilt from the Jiangnan Gongyuan, the largest imperial examination center in ancient China. It is located in the core area of Nanjing Confucius Temple and has a magnificent building. The venue includes three floors underground and venues on the ground. It is the only underground museum in China.
The intricate layout of the three underground floors creates a mysterious sense of time travel. The exhibition hall displays a large number of precious imperial examination relics, which are breathtaking.
The venues on the ground still retain relics of the imperial examinations of that time, such as the examinees' dormitories and waiting areas, making people feel as if they were traveling through time and space, and feeling the nervousness and excitement of the examinees back then.
