[Hainan] 4 Reasons to Visit Sanya

A vacation in Sanya is truly a paradise. I've flown there several times already, and I'm ready to return again and again. And I have four reasons for that!

🩵1) The deserted beaches of Sanya Bay. It just so happened that the part where I stayed was practically deserted. Sometimes I even swam alone.

🤍2) Hainan is the homeland of the Li and Miao peoples. I went on an excursion to an ethnic village (near Sanya), where I learned a lot about their way of life and history, watched their signature bamboo dance, and caught a bag of rice during the performance (they say it brings good luck!). The local girls wear luxurious silver crowns – they look like princesses!

✨3) Delicious food, large portions, and lots and lots of fresh seafood. My favorites: squirrel fish in sweet and sour sauce, Hainanese rice with pineapple, guobao (sweet and sour pork), and gongbao chicken.

💎4) Great shopping in the city center. We bought clothes and locally produced goods (candies, coconut milk powder, pearl jewelry).

It's also clean and very beautiful. I definitely recommend it!
