The Qinhuai River, originating from Qinhuai Mountain southwest of Nanjing, has been the city's mother river since ancient times. It has witnessed the rise and fall of Jinling City. Strolling along its banks, one can experience the rich charm of history.

We arrived near Confucius Temple during the day and admired the Qinhuai River's scenery. The beautiful lakeside embankment and the scattered ancient masted ships tell of its glorious past.

At night, the Qinhuai River reveals a different charm. The beautiful ancient streets are illuminated by brilliant lights, their reflections reflected on the calm water, creating a captivating picture of the Jiangnan waterside.
