Who understands this feeling! After countless disappointing hotel stays in Nanjing, I finally unearthed this gem, The Lalu Nanjing! First-class river views, Japanese-style private hot springs, and attentive service are all top-notch. I stayed for 3 days and didn't want to leave at all; this is what a vacation should be like~

Room Soundproofing & Hygiene: Detail-oriented guests will fall in love

I was amazed as soon as I entered the room! Closing the door instantly cut off the outside world; at night, I couldn't even hear the sound of the Yangtze River wind. I wasn't afraid of disturbing others even when working late on a project, and light sleepers will be overjoyed ✨. The hygiene was impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers had a faint scent of sunshine and felt soft to the touch. Even the grout in the bathroom tiles was spotless, without a single water stain. My favorite was the large balcony in the river view room. Waking up in the morning and opening the window, the Yangtze River's morning mist slowly dissipated, and every casual photo looked like a masterpiece. The private hot spring pool was incredibly clean, and soaking in the hot spring while watching the sunset felt like all my fatigue was washed away~

Dining Experience: A Feast for the Senses with a River View

The hotel's buffet completely blew me away! The freshly sliced salmon was so fresh it melted in my mouth, and the roasted lamb chops were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; even the dipping sauce was perfectly seasoned to my liking 🍣. For breakfast, the duck blood vermicelli soup was made by a local Nanjing chef; the duck blood was tender, the duck broth was delicious, and paired with freshly fried dumplings, it started the day with full energy. In the evening, I ordered the black truffle pasta à la carte at the river view restaurant; the noodles were coated in sauce, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. Eating while watching the river lights illuminate was incredibly romantic, making it absolutely worth every penny!

Be sure to choose a river view private hot spring room! Soaking in the hot spring around 4 PM, the sunlight sparkling on the water is incredibly beautiful. Remember to ask the butler to prepare bath salts in advance~ The hotel is very close to the Youth Olympic Village, so you can take a stroll along the river in the evening and enjoy the refreshing river breeze 🌬️. Upon checkout, the front desk will give you local Nanjing specialty snacks, which is a very thoughtful detail. Additionally, hotel parking is free, making it very convenient for self-driving, but remember to reserve a parking spot in advance during peak season~
