Nanjing's Hidden Gem Check-in Spot in Autumn 🤩 | Pilu Temple's Ginkgo Trees Are Here to Amaze!
I've long heard that the ginkgo trees at Nanjing's Pilu Temple are absolutely stunning, so I came to check it out while the autumn weather was crisp and pleasant, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Autumn here is simply too therapeutic; the golden ginkgo trees and the ancient temple's red walls complement each other beautifully, and every casual shot looks like a masterpiece 📸
📍Address: No. 4 Hanfu Street
🕘Opening hours: 9:00-16:30 (Last entry at 16:10)
✨Recommended activities:
1. Square in front of the Main Hall
This is the best spot to view the ginkgo trees. The sculptures in front of the ancient buildings, paired with the ground covered in golden ginkgo leaves, create an incredible atmosphere! It's recommended to take photos between 9-11 AM when the light is softest.
2. Side of the Mahavira Hall
The red walls contrast beautifully with the ginkgo trees, making it especially suitable for portrait photography. You can bring a transparent umbrella as a prop; the effect is fantastic!
3. Ancient ginkgo trees in the backyard
The ginkgo trees here are older, and their branches and leaves are particularly dense. Remember to shoot from a low angle to capture the entire golden expanse.
📸Photo tips:
✔ Wearing light-colored clothes makes for better photos.
✔ You can bring some small props: books, teacups, oil
