A two-meter-wide bed room where you can naturally wake up and embrace the sunlight—this Nanjing homestay truly healed me 🌿
After walking 20,000 steps in Nanjing last weekend, I unexpectedly discovered this hidden gem of a homestay next to Shanghai Road Metro Station—Journey Healing Stay. The biggest surprise was being stunned by the two-meter-wide bed as soon as I opened the door. When the sunlight streamed through the sheer curtains onto the bed, I instantly understood what "the right way to naturally wake up" means ✨
🌇 Prime location with king-level convenience
- 3-minute walk to Shanghai Road Metro Station (Line 1/Line 5)
- 10 minutes direct to Xinjiekou shopping district/Fuzimiao scenic area
- Trendy coffee shops and local restaurants right downstairs
I remember on the first night after having a late-night snack at Fuzimiao, I slowly strolled back to the homestay and unexpectedly came across the stunning Wutong Street on Hankou West Road (a great photo spot to save!)
🏡 Healing space details
• The room is equipped with automatic curtains and a projector; watching the "Lonely Planet" Nanjing special while cozy in bed at night feels amazing
• Smart toilet seat and oxygen bar egg are super friendly for walkers like me
• Every day when returning to the room, there’s a handwritten weather tip and attraction recommendation from the housekeeper
Special praise for the green plant wall in the common area—before heading out each day, I enjoyed a free cup of floral fruit tea while surrounded by lush greenery 🌱
📸 Photo-worthy scene guide
1. Theme room check-in: The red and blue walls of the Mario room are perfect for quirky nine-grid photos
2. Hallway corner: Afternoon light through the glass ceiling creates a beautiful geometric effect (wear light colors recommended)
3. Bed pose: Morning backlit "sunshine waking" shots are perfect for social media and will have everyone asking for the address
⚠️ Thoughtful tips
• When booking, remember to request a "high floor with a sunny side" room (my Room 206 was perfect for sunbathing)
• Weekends require booking 3 days in advance; the Ultraman-themed room is very popular
• Don’t miss Yang’s Noodle House nearby—try the Pi Du noodles! Just a 5-minute walk away
The biggest takeaway this time: in Nanjing, a city full of history, staying in the right place can truly double your travel happiness. Being woken up by the morning sun, sitting by the window sipping Rain Flower tea while watching the street slowly come alive—that’s the true way to experience Jinling City 💫
