My "Dream Hotel" on the Trip

Stepping into the Yashan Flower Sea and Stone Forest of Nanling feels like entering a dream woven by nature.
The spring breeze carries a fresh sweetness, leading me first to the flower sea. The mountains are ablaze with peonies blooming boldly in shades of pink, white, red, and purple, like a spilled palette of colors across the slopes. Their petals, thin as cicada wings, ripple like waves in the wind, enticing bees and butterflies to dance drunkenly among them, while the air is saturated with their rich, sweet fragrance.
Upon entering the lobby of Nanling Yipeng Hotel, warm yellow lights cast a gentle glow. The wooden-toned furniture exudes a cozy texture, and the front desk staff greet you with warm smiles. The check-in process is swift and thoughtful, complete with a hot towel to ease the weariness of travel.
The guest rooms are simply yet elegantly designed, with light gray walls paired with off-white bedding, creating a serene atmosphere. Drawing back the curtains reveals a slice of the cityscape—not grand, but brimming with life. The mattress, with just the right firmness, contours to the body, ensuring a dreamless night's sleep—a rare luxury for business travelers.
Breakfast in the buffet restaurant offers a modest but refined selection. The freshly cooked noodles in clear broth, garnished with scallions and dried shrimp, are a comforting delight. The freshly baked bread, fragrant with wheat and paired with jam, is simple yet satisfying.
What truly moved me were the thoughtful details. Staff in the hallway always step aside with a smile, and at checkout, the front desk proactively asks about your stay and even offers a small gift of local snacks.
This brief stay turned the hotel into a gentle oasis on my journey, offering comfort and warmth that allowed a busy traveler like me to steal a moment of leisure. Next time I'm in this city, I’ll definitely stay here again.
