[Kyoto] A still-existing village that feels like a time warp

📍Miyama Kayabuki-no-Sato, Kyoto Kayabuki-no-Sato, a tourist spot representing Miyama Town, is a village with a time-traveling landscape and many "thatched houses" still standing🏘️

I had always wondered how wonderful the atmosphere of this place would be in autumn, and finally I was able to go♡

In the "Kita" village, 39 of the 50 houses have thatched roofs, and the historical landscape, including the group of buildings built using traditional techniques, is highly regarded, and in December 1993 it was designated as a Nationally Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings!! 👏 There are cafes, museums, and guesthouses in the village, making it a popular tourist spot🌾 The autumn leaves at the nearby Chii Hachiman Shrine were also in full bloom and very beautiful😍🍁 If you come on a trip, you'll want to try some local sweets♡ I bought some pudding and coffee milk at a souvenir shop😊 You can walk around the village🚶♀️ (there are also rental bicycles) Add some excitement to your daily life:🌙 📷 :Photo taken on November 23, 2023 📍 Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, Kyoto📮 Miyama-cho Kita, Nantan City, Kyoto Prefecture🚗 About 1.5 hours by car from Kyoto Station🚃 About 2 hours by JR + Nantan City Bus from Kyoto Station
