Miyama Kayabuki-no-Sato, a small village close to nature and still maintaining the authentic Japanese countryside style that is so lovely and charming. Just seeing the pictures made us determined to come here. Before entering the village, we saw a prominent red mailbox, which is the main mailbox of this village, welcoming everyone. As we said, Kayabuki-no-Sato is a village that is 30 kilometers away from Kyoto, but just seeing a few pictures made us determined to visit. This place can be called a true rural community. It still maintains the traditional way of life, which is using thatched roofs to build houses, called Kayabuki huts, and still maintains the culture of dressing and doing traditional jobs.
Coming here is like Japan that has stopped time, allowing us to experience a lovely life. Coming here is like traveling against the current of capitalism to return to
the nature that is really hard to find nowadays.
