It's a bit far from Kyoto Station, so it's hard to visit, but it's an area where you can enjoy the quiet nature.
Kayabuki-no-Sato, lined with thatched-roof houses, is a photogenic tourist spot.
There are also shopping spots for ice cream and manju, and you can enjoy the scenery that changes with the seasons.
I'd like to go there in the snowy winter season.
