Haohe is the moat of Nantong
It was built during the Zhou Dynasty and has a history of over a thousand years. It is one of the four most well-preserved moats in China. Haohe is 10 kilometers long, winding around the main urban area. This moat has existed since the founding of Nantong.
The new Haohe Scenic Area
It has become a national 5A scenic spot and is open to the public for free. The ancient architectural and street area, mainly consisting of Temple Street, Tianning Temple, and Guangxiao Pagoda
Temple Street
Located at the intersection of Renmin Middle Road and Beihuaqiao Road in Chongchuan District, it is an old street with a history of thousands of years. The main road is 1.5 kilometers long, with alleys crisscrossing on both sides, and old residential houses are distributed.
The Haohe Scenic Area also includes a group of museums around Haohe, such as the Nantong Museum, the China Abacus Museum, and other major exhibition halls, as well as landmarks like Tianning Temple and the Bell Tower. There are also modern and fashionable commercial areas, such as the Bell Tower Plaza and South Street.
