Nantong Osmanthus Island | Beautiful Scenery to Delight the Heart

Osmanthus Island is located on the southeast side of Xinle Bridge in downtown Nantong, in the northeast corner of Haohe River. It was once the Huangnikou in the north of the city, where the remains and broken stele of Luo Binwang were discovered in the Ming Dynasty. As part of the Haohe Scenic Area, the island now incorporates many elements of Luo Binwang, including new sculptures, ground sculptures, viewing stones, and lacquer paintings. The island is home to ancient-style pavilions and corridors, and is named after the many osmanthus trees planted here.
