Nantou Attractions|Taiwan Railway Jiji Line

The Jiji Branch Line is the longest railway branch line of the Taiwan Railways. It was originally built as a transportation railway for the construction of reservoirs for hydroelectric power generation. Later, due to its rich tourist resources, it became the pioneer of Taiwan's tourist railways. It is also the only railway still in operation in Nantou County. The main stations on the Jiji Line are: Ershui Station, Yuanquan Station, Zhuoshui Station, Longquan Station, Jiji Station, Shuili Station, and Checheng Station. Remember to check out the nostalgic Jiji Railway Station and the old train.
