“Baohu Dimu Temple,” a Taoist temple in Taiwan known as Qinggong

Baohu Dimu Temple is a Taoist temple built in 1948. It has a unique architectural style with a roof made of blue tiles instead of the red tiles of Taiwan.

Actually, the temple was not on this itinerary, but a local friend told me that it was a famous spot for taking photos in Taiwan, so I visited.

In fact, unlike Buddhist temples in Korea, I tend to refrain from visiting Taoist temples in Taiwan.
The reason is that I had a bit of a prejudice because the location and the color of the building were dark and gloomy.

This visit gave me the opportunity to get rid of the image of Taoist temples located in the city center or downtown areas.

✅Located close to Sun Moon Lake, it has a slightly different architectural style and feel from temples in Taiwan, so I recommend visiting.
