A Colorful Temple with Epic Views at BaoHu Palace Earth Mother Temple

#chinatravel Visited BaoHu Palace Earth Mother Temple in Puli Nantou County and it was such a cool and peaceful stop. The temple is up on a hillside so you get awesome views over Puli and the mountains around it. The colors are super vibrant with teal roofs and really detailed architecture that pops even from far away.

Inside it’s calm and open with big halls dragon carvings and lots of gold accents. It feels really serene just walking through and taking it all in. If you head up to the higher levels you get an amazing view of the whole area. It’s perfect for photos or just standing there breathing in that mountain air.

No entrance fee and free parking which is always a plus. You don’t need to be religious to appreciate the vibe here. It’s a great stop if you’re nearby and want something peaceful with a mix of culture and nature.
