The fortress has a circumference of approximately 2 kilometers and features two gates, east and west. The walls are several feet high, and a rectangular stone tablet atop the gatehouse bears the inscription " Zhuchang City West . " The town boasts three stone peaks, coinciding with the fact that Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang once dispatched three generals to fight here.
