Baihua Lake, located in the northwest suburbs of Guiyang, is approximately 22 kilometers from the city center. The lake boasts 108 islands scattered throughout, offering stunning views of distant mountains and turquoise waters. Its natural landscape is dominated by karst landforms and stunning lake and mountain scenery. Resembling the scenery of the Li River in Guilin, it is known as " Little Guilin . "

On Baihua Island, a vibrant array of flowers vie for glory, including crabapples, crape myrtles, osmanthus, and plum blossoms. Over Bird Island, hundreds of birds circle, chirping in rhythmic melody. Gulls, egrets, herons, and wild geese wander the lake contentedly. Within the lake, three small villages and dozens of farmers, fishing in small boats, create a vibrant and picturesque scene.

Southeast of Baihua Lake lies the famous Zhuchang Town, known as " Zhuchang Fort " during the Ming Dynasty . The fortress has a circumference of approximately 2 kilometers and features two gates, east and west. The walls are several feet high, and a rectangular stone tablet atop the gatehouse bears the inscription " Zhuchang City West . " The town boasts three stone peaks, coinciding with the fact that Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang once dispatched three generals to fight here. The peaks were named after these generals: " Da Jiangjun , " "Er Jiangjun ," and " San Jiangjun . "
